Sure! Don't think that post-Christmas shopping is only for sweaters, wrapping paper and candy canes... For you creative types, check clearance shelves for fun guest favors, ribbon, lights, platters (that you can spray paint over - any color you'll need), candles, candy, fabric, seasonal table decor items, ornaments (if you have a holiday 2009 wedding planned), and more.
Also, keep in mind that boutiques and bridal shops may want to get inventory out the door before the 1st of the year as well. Might be a nice time to get a flower girl dress or your wedding gown - a deal off the rack!
